Ron and Peggy Roloff

Ron and Peggy are featured on the award winning TLC reality show, Little People, Big World in their real life roles as parents of Matthew and the grandparents of Matt and Amy Roloff’s four children.

They now travel speaking on how life’s challenges can become the catalyst to aim us in the right direction. Both have taken the training of CLASS, Christian Leaders, Authors and Speaker’s Seminar. Peggy has just published a booklet with helps in overcoming adversity, A Christmas List and other expectations.

Peggy has been a choice speaker for women’s groups over the past thirty years. With wit and wisdom she is willing to share her insight from behind the scenes of a strong, determined and loving family. Three of her four children were born with severe physical disabilities, but that never defined their family. Her lovely daughter, Ruth, is tall and healthy as the eldest sibling. Told not to ‘name him’, Joshua their middle son miraculously lived thirty-four years with a malformed heart and non-existent pulmonary arteries, he was not expected to live or leave the hospital. A loving son and brother, Josh will never be forgotten. Sam is their youngest son who also has diastrophic dysplasia and walks with crutches as their oldest son Matthew.

Peggy and Ron devised creative ways to engage their children, preparing them for life beyond the casts and surgeries. Her message is to encouage those facing uphill struggles with the prospect of choosing to be better rather than bitter.
