Ron and Peggy Roloff

We were to be here just a couple of days however, our computer screen crashed so we have waited for a replacement and enjoyed meeting old friends and fans of the show each day. We’re not that recognizable so it always amazes us when folks come up saying ‘I know you!’.

Our car needed to have belts checked so Ron decided we would get the full work up. Will not cost us less than in Oregon so we’re thinking it would have been better now to have it done before we left… no tax in Or. But it’s given us more time for visiting.

We met with the preacher of our church in San Francisco when I was a teen ager. Funny how they remembered my hair as being red, which is it again , and Tom said my voice was the same.
We so enjoyed talking about old times. Donna and Tom Marshall live here in OK now. Donna recalled how my grandfather, as a preacher, would travel on the greyhound bus each Sunday, from San Francisco, when she was growing up in Northern California. she also remembered his favorite hymn was Sweeter as the Days Go By.

I’ll be posting some of the photos with fans and friends but today we’ve been invited to a huge motivational conference with Laura Bush, Colin Powell and 7 other celebrities.

Last night we ate at the oldest bar in Oklahoma Eichen’s in Okarche. Authentic with a very limited menu of fried chicken and okra.. plus a couple of other things.. Fun place that’s not been remodeled in absolute years!! A piece of Oklahoma with farmers and cowboys in coveralls, boots of all sorts as well as hats.
