2 Finally on our way
Early this morning, Sunday, we finished packing the van and have started out on the road. Without our lil’ cabin we are making good time and plan on being in Grass Valley this evening. Ruthie is expecting us so we’ll have a good time. It is almost her birthday and since I’m her mom I guess I can celebrate too… I was there!
I’m going to paint a portrait of her husband, Rich, for her gift. It’s something new I’ve taken up amongst my other artsy things. I’ve done many in pastels now. Even was commissioned to do a young eight year old who is beautiful. That makes 15 portraits. I’m loving it.

(sorry I can’t seem to keep the picture turned)
Suze has a tea party planned for our birthday tea group. I used to do that for both Suze and Ruthie as their birthdays are in the same week. Now Suze has a granddaughter and my granddaughters are grown and in college… boy, does time fly.
