Eight weeks
It’s 8 weeks from surgery today. I am finding that it isn’t an overnight recovery. I’m walking without a walker or cane but not without a hobble especially when I first get up from sitting… anywhere. In a car, chair or couch. Hopping on one foot to get my bearings and stabilize is difficult. There is pain in my new hip however, it’s just for 10-30 seconds.. (seems like an hour to forever) during my ’slow start up’. My mind wants to run around and be back to my old self but not quite yet.
