July is almost gone

ron-roxy-and-sarah.jpgron-roxy-and-sarah.jpgron-roxy-and-sarah.jpg It’s been a lovely summer. Picking strawberries up the hill from our home and having the young Pfaffingers here overnight with little Lucy. Our celebration of Ron’s big 70th at the end of June and completing the festivities in California. With my brother Fred and his wife Pat in town from Ohio we had a mini family reunion! The park was a great place for friends and family to gather. If birthdays didn’t make you older, we’d have one more often!

Great to spendron-roxy-and-sarah.jpg time with friends…

Our oldest granddaughter Rachel turned 21 just days later but she was already gone to Africa on an 8 week mission. She is a very special gal and we are so proud of her.

Sarah, Roxy (Ron’s twin sister with bird) and Ron.

Beautiful granddaughter Sarah went with us from Grass Valley to Santa Cruz where we stayed in a darling cottage along the ocean. A couple of days and nights in Mt. Hermon in the redwoods made it a high light of our journey. We had a cabin for our family for 20 years so it was a bit like going home.

More as the summer winds down… Peggy and Ron
